Foot, Notes (2020)

In March 2019, in the run up to what would have been the UK’s exit from the European Union, I walked the length of the border between Ireland and Northern Ireland, starting in Derry and finishing in Carlingford.

Foot, Notes charts my own walk of the border, conducted at a time when its future was in flux. The result is a guidebook, one that arranges multiples layers of time and space in relation to the line on the map I followed.

The book is made up of 310 photos of my walk along the border, accompanied by texts and other information written and gathered as I walked.
